Thailand's wreck diving capital great for divers of all levels

Thailand's wreck diving capital great for divers of all levelsBesides nightlife, shopping and beaches, Pattaya is also one of Thailand's leading scuba diving destinations. With dive sites all within 90 minutes of shore, new and experienced divers alike will find interesting and convenient diving here.
The area boasts three main dive areas - the Near Islands, Far Islands and Samae San - which all feature a sunken shipwreck, truly making Pattaya Thailand's "wreck diving capital." All are served daily by Aquanauts Dive Centre, Pattaya's only British & American-owned PADI 5-Star National Geographic Career Development Centre, on Soi 6 and Beach Road.
The Near Islands are great for new divers, with good coral diving, a sunken restaurant to explore, several resident giant sea turtles, a forest of sea anemone and the HTMS Kood wreck at 31 meters. The Far Islands offer great coral diving free of jet skis and motorboats plus the HTMS Khram, sunk in 2003 as an artificial reef. Samae San, about a 45-mnute drive south, is home to the Hardeep wreck, sunk during World War II, and beautiful islands dived far less often than other sites.
Whether you want to just try diving for the day, do a certification course or just enjoy a fun dive, we recommend Aquanauts, with its staff of Western instructors and Pattaya's largest and most-comfortable boat.
